And while its museums and phenomenal architecture have earned the city a reputation as the cultural epicenter of the UAE, you will find that sheer opulence also abounds, from the world’s first gold-dispensing ATM to the Emirates Palace, one of the world’s costliest hotels to build at an estimated $3 billion.
